As Ghyllie has decided to have her pups today I am afraid that I have had to cancel today's classes.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Back next week as normal.
Training plus is a Kennel Club Listed Club dedicate to helping you get the best from your dog or new puppy at classes or at home
Dogs are happier when they know their boundaries. Learn how to get your dog to focus on you and respond when asked to do something.
All puppies up to a year old work towards the Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Award.
Throughout the year we hold test nights for Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen Tests.
Dates will be posted as and when they are arranged. See Forthcoming events.
We want you to feel welcome and that you can ask any question without being talked down to.
Having trained many dogs over a number of years I do realise that dogs do not follow set patterns. Any problems will be dealt with, no-one has ever been asked to leave.
I have qualifications from Writtle College in Dog Training, Management and Behaviour and I am a member of the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors Scheme. I will provide the expert care you and your dog deserve.
Training plus offers kind and effective training for your dog. All aspects of training and dog care are covered getting the best from your dog and letting them learn at their own speed.
We are a small, friendly club with the main aim of helping all owners and their dogs, from new puppies to dogs with behavioural problems. Many of the owners make new friends and meet up for dog walks etc. In the twenty plus years we have been running no-one has ever been asked to leave or been put on the sidelines because their dog has been disruptive.
Dogs and puppies are dealt with sympathetically according to their temperament, shy, timid dogs are easily put off and bold dogs can soon take advantage.
Classes range from puppy through Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen Scheme to Competitive Obedience, Gundog Training and Ringcraft for beginners.
The whole family, especially children are welcome so that everyone learns how to interact with their dog.
I have training and behaviour qualifications from Writtle College and I am a member of the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors Scheme. This means that I have to keep up to date with the latest training methods and new thinking on the behaviour front.
I have over twenty years experience of helping people with their dogsand have spent even longer training and competing in Obedience with my German Sheperds. I am now training Springer Spaniels to work as Gundogs, compete in scuries and take part in Gundog Tests.
